Heat and cold treatments are recognized as effective non-chemical solutions in Pest Management Systems for food pests, woodworms, bed bugs and many other insects.
Their ability to control pests at different life stages without the use of pesticides makes them particularly valuable in environments where chemical treatments are limited or restricted. Physical control methods such as heat and cold are becoming an increasingly important part of sustainable pest management strategies and, for some pests, the best solution.
