New Silotrap®
Specific trap for the monitoring of pests in vertical silos and horizontal warehouses
Features
Thanks to its specific shape, New Silotrap can be easily placed into silos, on top of stored cereals. It is made of stainless steel; it is robust and resistant and is designed to capture many insect’s species thanks to two plates where 8 pheromones and food attractants must be placed. Pheromones attract flying and crawling insects which enter the New Silotrap through specific holes and openings.
Field of application
All cereals, Barley, Buckwheat, Cereal storage, Corn, Millet, Oat, Rice, Rye, Spelt, Triticale, WheatAPPLICATION METHOD
Place the pheromones on the plates placed at the extremities of the trap. Place the support of New Silotrap vertically inside the mass of cereal. Place New Silotrap at a distance of 15-20 m. Monitoring time: check the trap after 20-30 days.

TARGET PESTS
Flying insects: Indianmeal moth (Plodia interpunctella), Mediterranean flour moth (Ephestia kuehniella), European grain moth (Nemapogon granella).
Crawling insects: Weevil (Sitlophilus spp.), flour beetles (Tribolium spp.), sawtoothed grain beetle (Oryzaephilus spp.), lesser grain borer (Rhyzopertha dominica), biscuit beetle (Trogoderma spp.), and other cereal pests.
